Client Project Manager for the fit out of No 1 Poultry for Aviva Investors.
The practice was responsible for the provision of executive and strategic management support to plan and implement the acquisition of a vacant floor within their headquarters building and its subsequent fit out.
Martin Stevens liaised with key decision-makers within the client’s organisation and multiple “internal” stakeholders for the project as well as the landlord’s consultants. We managed the interface between two specialist fit-out contractors engaged directly by Aviva on a design and build basis.
Once due diligence on the prospective space was complete; we, the client and contractors as a combined team managed by us prepared a design and space planning solution for approval and implementation.
Once construction was completed we managed the staff migration from their existing locations; followed by the refurbishment of existing floors including the re-configuration and equipping of the catering kitchen and the creation of new conference and meeting room suites equipped with “smart board” technology. In addition, a 200 seat multi-purpose presentation room was created; equipped with high definition broadcast quality audio-visual recording and transmission capability.
All works were undertaken with the client in occupation and with no loss of trading.
